A few days in the life of Charlotte

We begin with a typical quiet moment where she is contemplating what to get into next.  She had already accomplished removing the pieces from the puzzle beneath her feet.

And…she’s off!!

Lunch occurs sometime later

We continue later on in the week…we steal a nice moment between her and Otis

Then we run some errands.  Mommy’s sunglasses are always a good distraction.

time for some outside playtime which always includes some independent walking

See how they gaze at each other on our nightly walks?

Getting ready a few mornings later to cuddle up to Otis. He was not in the mood.

That night I moved her high chair into the living room so she could watch frozen. Otis waits patiently during every meal for her to drop a morsel or 5.

After her bath, she sits with Kali in the recliner and watches some more of her new favorite movie before bed time.

It’s an even split between Frozen and Tangled. Frozen is disneys take on The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson and Tangled is their take on Rapunzel.

Yesterday, I turned an empty box of diapers over for her to use as a table.

Then for lunch. .. she had steak.  Even though I gave her smaller pieces to eat, she grabbed the big slice and went to town. I think she likes to gnaw on steak when her teeth are coming in.  Plus… it’s steak.

You can bet Otis was laying at her feet the entire time.

Last night she waited me out. Her crib is in our bedroom.  We like heading the kids closeby. I put her to bed at 8. Lysander and I came to bed at 10 and there she was…sitting patiently for us.  I put Zander down and started to get into bed when she started the most pathetic, tortuous cry. .did I give in? Of course I did.

Last night was worth this morning in pictures.

she’s always taken her blanket with her when she leaves her crib, but this giant bear makes the journey now as well.
